If you are familiar with using Macromedia Photoshop or Imageready
but do not have enough time to develop a user interface, why not
look to download a free photoshop template and amend this to suit
your needs?
Building a basic template can take some time which further includes
developing colours and adding images. Once you're happy with this,
you then need to look at how you are going to slice up the image
in Imageready after you have created this in Photoshop. Even a
simple template can take time. The simple solution is to download
a free Photoshop template and either use it as it is, or you can
quite easily amend this. The advantage is that you do not have
to think about colours matching etc as this has all been done
for you.
Below are some Photoshop resource sites that allow you to download
the templates for free. Some of these sites will also have a 'premium'
service whereby you can purchase templaes for a nominal fee.
TemplatEyes.com
A collection of some very nice PhotoShop designed templates. No
registrations or signups required. Simply select the teplate you
require and click on download.
GUIStuff.com
Another site that has been around for while. There are some nice
interfaces, ideal for research purposes. These are available in
.PSD format, .TIF and some of the images have even been sliced
up in HTML for you. There is also some other nice Flash templates
available in the site.
