Yahoo
Search Marketing (formerly Overture)
The biggest name in Pay Per Click advertising. Over 80% of PPC
traffic comes in via OVerture. Bid as little as £0.10 /
$0.10 on your keywords. You will see your sponsored listings appear
on some of the worlds largest portals and information sites.
With Google AdWords you create your own ads, choose keywords to
help us match your ads to your audience and pay only when someone
clicks on them. Unlike Overture and Miva you do not bid on keywords
but rather you bid on how much traffic you will obtain through
a specific keyword.
Miva (formerley
eSpotting & FindWhat)
Very similar to Overture but not as big. Miva's PPC system goes
hand in hand with Overtures system and Miva have a new Pay per
call system which is soon to take off.
